I remember praying that our new daughter Brynlee wouldn’t die before my wife Emily got to hold her. It was a hard thing to pray, but I meant it and I was so hopeful that Emily would get to hold our little 1-pound 10-ounce miracle before she passed away. God provided us a miracle and kept Brynlee alive, not only did Emily get to hold her, but we hold her everyday and I try often to remind myself of not only what a miracle she is, but what a miracle life itself truly is.
Here’s to three miraculous years and many, many more to come!
